Integrity in work, flexibility in approach

My love affair with research started very early; growing up in a humble family made me question everything and brought the curios side of me to light. As a kid, when there’s no cable TV, you either play outside or read. I chose the latter. Starting with books and newspaper, I ended up reading papers from the front page to the last page, and this further developed my curiosity about the world.

By the time I finished school I knew either I will become a journalist or a scientific researcher owing to my habit of digging in deep about any question. It was the summer of 2013 when I used the holidays during my bachelor's to work in a lab and that was my kick and I knew this is what I want to do for living. I did my master's working in the same lab on contact lens based systems. The rest is history in making.
